Signature Draperies & Design is a full-service, custom window-treatment firm, owned and operated by Sandy Powell. After having been involved in the design industry for a number of years, Sandy recognized a need for a specialized design outlet that focuses primarily on window treatments. With a background in design, art, and engineering, Sandy's creative talents and experience unite outstanding design and function. Her problem-solving skills allow her to tackle "challenging windows" that would scare away most designers.

As a window coverings specialist, her services include the selection and professional installation of roman shades, draperies, valances, cornices, cellular shades, blinds, shutters, motorized shades, and woven-wood shades. She also specializes in home theater solutions offering a variety of blackout solutions and acoustic wall-treatments.

Sandy is a member of ASID, WCAA, WFCP, and a WCAA Certified Window Treatment Consultant. She received 1st place awards in both 2004 and 2005 at the Annual International Window Coverings Exposition for her drapery designs. She was also featured in Fine Furnishing International magazine (Fall, 2004), Window Fashions magazine, and Silicon Valley Home magazine. Additionally, her work is featured in the book, Dream Windows  (published September 2005). Sandy makes a point to stay active with global market trends and the latest window-covering products which help her to make proactive suggestions for her clients.
